Dear 2011 World Police and Fire Games Participant; PIBL has been appointed the International Freight Forwarder and U.S. Customs Broker for the 2011 World and Police Fire games in New York City. Utilization of PIBL will alleviate potential delays in New York and increase the overall efficiency and reliability of the entire transportation process. Although courier companies can provide reliable service for smaller shipments, we do not recommend using them for events such as the New York Police and Fire Games. Customs clearance services are unreliable and shipments are delayed on a regular basis. In conjunction with our overseas affiliates and express package agent, PIBL has the ability to provide shipping, U.S. customs clearance, and delivery services for shipments ranging in size from 5 kgs to 10,000 kgs. Our licensed personnel are based in New Jersey and will be onsite at the events prior to, during and after the show to answer Customs clearance questions and to assist with the re-exportation of freight after show closing. The shipping process does take time and requires a lot of communication. If you have a shipment you intend to send to New York for the Police and Fire Games, you should be making arrangements 30-60 days in advance.
