NATIONAL MARINE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION NAMES PHOENIX U.S. OFFICIAL FREIGHT FORWARDER FOR METS 2005 SHOW IN AMSTERDAM |
Port Elizabeth, NJ , August 2005 |
The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), Organizers of the USA Pavilion at METS 2005, has named Phoenix International Business Logistics, Inc. as their official U.S. freight forwarder. The prestigious event will be held November 15-17, 2005 at the (RAI) Europa Complex in Amsterdam. METS 2005 is one of the largest international boating shows in the world. The 65 U.S. NMMA members participating in the show are parts and supplies manufacturers and related service providers. An international trade show logistics company celebrating currently celebrating its 10th year anniversary, Phoenix will consolidate exhibitor shipments in New York and Chicago for transport by sea and air to Amsterdam. Frank Rettig, Branch Manager of the Phoenix Chicago office, will provide on-site support and supervision during the event. In addition, METS 2005 exhibitors will have the advantage of utilizing the recently released Phoenix Online Shipment Tracking system (POST), the trade show industry’s first web-based shipment tracking and tracing program designed specifically for U.S. exhibitors and event organizers. “For the first time, NMMA members attending METS 2005 will be able to track the progress of their shipments themselves via Phoenix’s Website on the Internet,” says Phoenix President Phil Hobson. The culmination of this process – and the ultimate demonstration of Phoenix’s commitment to customer service – is that confirmation of shipment delivery to the client’s booth is personally witnessed and reported by an onsite Phoenix representative – in this case Branch Manager Frank Rettig.” Phoenix is a fully licensed international freight forwarder and U.S. customhouse broker specializing in shipping and onsite logistics for domestic and international trade shows, corporate meetings, and other special events. As one of the few trade show freight forwarders with a customs license, Phoenix organizes onsite logistics in addition to processing the customs clearances and export documentation. This dual qualification, supported by global resources that include offices, partnerships and agency agreements throughout the world, enables Phoenix to provide timely delivery of freight in a way that maximizes efficiencies of time and cost. |
